2025/2026 “Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country” Digital Drawing Competition, Award Ceremony, and Display of Students’ Works
In order to strengthen local primary school students’ understanding of the history of the War of Resistance, thereby inspiring awareness of safeguarding national security and fostering national identity, the Hong Kong Aided Primary School Heads Association and the Subsidized Primary Schools Council organised the “Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country” Digital Drawing Competition in November 2025 in collaboration with the Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence. The competition invited all primary schools across Hong Kong to participate, with themes centered on “History of the War of Resistance” and “Vision of Peace.” Participating students visited the Museum to learn about the war history. An award ceremony was held at the Museum on 26 March 2026, and the students’ works were displayed to the public from 27 March to 9 April at the Upper Redoubt.
Mr. Terence Cheung, Head of the Chinese Culture Promotion Office (third from the left), presented the first prize to the winning team.
