"Learn from Museums - Novice Curator Training Programme 2025"
The “Learn from Museums – Novice Curator Training Programme 2025” is jointly organised by the Personal, Social and Humanities Education (PSHE) Section of the Curriculum Development Institute (CDI) of the Education Bureau (EDB) and the Hong Kong Museum of War of Resistance and Coastal Defence (MWRCD).
The programme aims to:
- enhance students’ understanding of curatorial work through experiencing various aspects of museum work;
- enhance students’ interest in historical studies through training seminar, introduction on exhibition content and outdoor field trip, so as to encourage them to furtherexplore historical knowledge and develop proper values and attitudes; and
- cultivate students’ national identity and affection for the Chinese people, and cherishing peace through understanding the history of the War of Resistance.
S1 to S4 students of local secondary schools are invited to participate in the training programme. Each school can nominate 3 to 5 students. For enquiries, please contact PSHE Section, CDI, EDB (Tel: 2892 5867).
