Artefact Collection Campaign for the War of Resistance

To help prepare the thematic exhibition related to the War of Resistance, the MWRCD is launching an “Artefact Collection Campaign for the War of Resistance” from September 2024 to August 2025. This campaign aims to encourage the public to donate historical relics and photos connected to the War of Resistance and the Dongjiang Column (East River Column), and to preserve the history of the War of Resistance through community collaboration. These historical objects include attires, accessories, documents, memorabilia, and historical photos, etc, related to the East River Column. Interested parties can share information about the artefacts via post, email or fax to the MWRCD. These collected items will not only enrich the museum’s collection but also help showcase the heroic stories of the East River Column and honour the contributions of the martyrs to the victory of the War of Resistance.

Collection Details:

Collection Scope:	Artefacts in connection with the War of Resistance and the East River Column
Collection Items:	1. Attires and accessories from the members of the East River      Column,     (e.g. clothing, flags, binoculars)  2. Historical documents,     (e.g. diaries, letters, drawings, newspapers, posters)  3. Memorabilia for the War of Resistance,     (e.g. badges, pennants, certificates)  4. Historical Photos

Collection Period: Septemeber 2024 to August 2025
